1. Plug it in.
Network cable to your router, then power. Give it a minute. (Booting from a stick you made? Secure Boot off — create a live disk if you haven't.)
2. Open its page and claim it.
On any phone or computer on the same network, open http://pipeos.local/ and choose an admin password. Whoever sets the password owns the box — do this first, and keep the password safe; it is the only key.
3. Name it, pick what it does.
The name becomes its address — studio makes it http://studio.local/. Then flip the switches: the Claude assistant is on by default; streaming, pipe messaging, and vendor support access stay off until you say otherwise.
4. Connect Claude.
The wizard asks for a Claude token and shows how to get one — today that is one command on any computer with Claude Code, pasted back into the page. Your account, your billing, your data.
Done. The same page is the dashboard.
Chat with the box, watch its health, browse its files, add drives, and update — all from http://pipeos.local/. A reboot restores the last saved state and is always safe. If anything is ever weird: Maintenance → Repair, then Reboot.
